In the book of Acts we get a picture of how the early church experienced life together:
"And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." (Acts 2:46-47)
These early Christians gathered both at the temple and in homes, both as large and small groups. Most Christians regularly experience the blessing of corporate worship through weekend services, but many are still missing out on the blessing of this second aspect of life together - what we call Small Groups.
At VCB we recognize that a primary catalyst for spiritual growth is close Christian community. Small Groups provide us with the opportunity to dig deeper into God's Word together, build meaningful relationships through fun, fellowship, prayer, and accountability care for one another and build up the body of Christ by serving together.
It is our desire that each individual and family be a part of a community group where you will grow in your faith and establish meaningful relationships in the body of Christ.
