Connections are a key part of Women in Ministry. We recognize the crucial importance of feeling that we are a part of the body of Christ through neighborhood ministries, fellowship, serving together and building relationships.
1 Thessalonians 2:8 (NIV) "We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our lives as well because you had become so dear to us."
The three prongs of this ministry are:
Neighborhood Connections is headed up by Jenni Bennett. The goal of this part of ministry is to connect each woman who attends VCB via a neighborhood cell group. Sometimes we don't even realize who is right around the corner!
Engaging the Community with Judy Bruce is focused on living out our Christian faith in our everyday lives. Whether that involves inviting a friend to an event, starting a neighborhood Bible study or figuring out how to express our faith in "by the way" places, this ministry wants to help women engage other women in faith matters.
Serving Eachother led by Joanne Bell seeks to leave no woman behind! There is a place for each precious individual who comes through our doors. Perhaps you will want to join in planning a luncheon or help our elderly women in practical ways. This ministry focuses on both reaching out and responding.
