Women's Discipling Ministries

The goal of the Women's Discipling Ministries is to engage each woman of the Village Church of Barrington in discipling opportunities for the purpose of spiritual formation.  Using small group discipling as a springboard for growth, this ministry is seeking all women who are interested in maturing and going deeper in their faith and practice of the Christian life. 
 
While these groups of 3 or 4 women are dynamic and individualized in many ways, there is a text, Disicpleship Essentials by Greg Ogden, which is recommended at the outset. A variety of doctrines of the faith are explored and there is also time for prayer and sharing our lives as women of faith. The typical commitment is about 14-18 months with the opportunity for continuing and also for forming new groups.
