Box Tops for Education

Did you know-you can contribute to the ministry of LYDIA Home without spending any extra money? Clip the UPC's barcodes and logos on many products called Labels for Education and Box Tops for Education. VCB sends a collection to LYDIA Home in Chicago several times a year. (Years ago the entire soup label was needed, but now only the small item is needed.) Last year over 3,000 trimmed logos were delivered; they were traded for $300 worth of school supplies and sporting equipment. This year LYDIA will receive more than $0.10 per logo. Place your contributions in the basket below the Impact Bulletin Board in the Sanctuary hallway, in mailroom box #11 or by Room 107A on Tuesday mornings. Visit www.btfe.com for a complete list of Box Tops products. LYDIA Home is an evangelical Christian organization based in Chicago committed to serving families and children in need. They provide a diverse range of programs, from residential treatment to foster care, counseling to parenting classes, and many offerings in between. VCB has supported LYDIA financially for over ten years.

Regional Missionaries and Organizations

The Village Church of Barrington supports individual missionaries from various Christian agencies. They serve on college and university campuses, in prisons and in a variety of other ministries. We currently support 10 missionaries (individuals and families) serving in various regions of the United States. We also support several organizations. Click the links to learn more about each one.
