Costa Rica Short Term Missions Trip

VCB has been sending teams to minister in Costa Rica since 1995.  Eric Gustafson, who went on the first trip as a student, now serves as a VCB supported missionary with One Collective in Costa Rica.  This summer our team will be going to support Eric and Caroline Gustafson and the church they recently planted, El Camino.  We will assist them with an evangelistic effort to reach the neighborhoods around the church, offer training classes for church leaders in facilitating effective small groups and Biblical principles of budgeting and money management, assist in helping them start a children’s ministry, and help them install sound treatment in the Sonlife Multiplication Center, where the church meets.

Recognizing that it is only through God’s strength and guidance that we will be able to effectively minister, we ask that you consider partnering with us through prayer and financial support. Our VCB Short-term Missions Fund (Ev Rogers) is generously covering a portion of our costs but cannot cover the total.  Watch for announcements of fundraising events.  Please pray for our two teams as we prepare to serve.  Pray also that God will prepare hearts in Costa Rica to receive the gospel.  Finally, please prayerfully consider joining us in ministry through financial support.
