Our Staff

David has been privileged to serve as Senior Pastor at Village Church since 2010.  He seeks to combine the in-depth study of Scripture with a shepherd’s heart.  He has been married to Helen for more than thirty years.  They have three grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandsons.

As the Associate Senior Pastor, Rod has assisted Pastor David primarily through oversight of staff and finances of VCB since the fall of 2014. He and his wife Cindy have 5 grown children and 7 grandchildren. In addition to spending time with their family they enjoy hiking, biking and exploring God’s creation together.

Jim Crouter has been serving at Village Church since 1993.  After serving as Youth Pastor for 15 years he made the change to Media Arts and Technology. Jim also oversees our Men's Ministry.  Jim and Sharon have been married since 1982 and they have two grown sons and a daughter-in-law. 

Tim came to Village Church in 2002 and oversees the areas of Worship and Prayer. He seeks to develop worshipers who extol God and exalt Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Besides a passion for music he loves to explore food and culture wherever and whenever he can. He and his wife, Sara, have three children. 

Tina joined the VCB staff in the spring of 2018. It is her desire to lead the congregation in passionate, authentic worship.  She also serves the women of the church by encouraging them to grow in their love for God and others. She is married with three young-adult children.

Amy has been attending VCB since 2014 and joined the staff in 2018. She has a passion for working with children and families, coming alongside them to help point them to God through sound Biblical teaching. She and her husband James and their three sons enjoy playing games, hiking, spending time with friends, practicing Tae Kwon Do.

Wes and his wife, Annie, first started attending VCB in 2009. He joined the staff at Village Church as Pastor of Student Ministries in January 2021. He is passionate about making disciples who are faithful in their walk with Christ and fruitful in their mission for Christ. His most time-consuming hobby is cleaning up after his three small children once they are in bed.

Calvin joined the VCB staff in 2021 as Director of Community Life. His desire as a servant leader is to engage with each member to take steps to become more committed to God and allow their gifts to flow out of them to nourish each other in love. He and his wife Deborah have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
